Welcome to Target Shooting Ireland

Target Shooting Ireland (TSI) is the National Governing Body for ISSF rifle and pistol shooting events in Ireland. We are recognised by the International Shooting Sports Federation (ISSF), the European Shooting Confederation, the Olympic Federation of Ireland and are current members of the Federation of Irish Sport. TSI focuses primarily on the ISSF and Paralympic disciplines split between rifle and pistol.

TSI additionally oversees and encourages participation in similar non-ISSF events including, but not limited to, 25yd rifle. These events, though not present in ISSF competitions, are run in a similar format and standard to ISSF events and are analagous to Olympic and Paralympic events. This allows year round training, encourages wider participation in the sport and allows training and competition opportunities outside of the limited scope of facilities currently available to our members. TSI’s goal is to encourage active participation in the sport and provide a support system for athletes, coaches and officials engaged in the sport.
