NTSA National 50m Championships


To be held at the Midlands National Shooting Centre of Ireland,

Blueball, Co. Offaly

Due to a problem with the electronic target system, the NTSA have had to postpone this event to a later date. All booked-in participants for Sunday's competition are being informed. A new date will be arranged as soon as possible. Sincere apologies to all shooters.

NTSA rules will apply for this competition. All shooters must be current members of the NTSA and eligible to hold an Irish passport to win National Medals

Normal 0 false false false EN-IE X-NONE X-NONE MicrosoftInternetExplorer4 Prone event. 60 shots in the Prone position.

Classified competition to be run concurrently with the Prone competition.
Entry fee: €20
Medals for 1st to 3rd in championships, prizes for 1st to 3rd in classified competition dependant on entries.

Range opens 9:30am
Detail A - 10:00, Detail B – 11:45, Detail C - 13:30.

10 Shot Final if run will be at - 15:30

To book a detail, go to www.targetshooting.ie, log in and click the Book Detail item from the menu on the left and choose your firing point and detail from the selection available. Entrants will be emailed their detail and firing point number by return.

Ties to be broken by number of inner tens, equipment malfunctions must be reported to the Range Officer immediately before any extra match shots can be allowed. The committee reserves the right to alter the conditions before the last shot is fired.

Detail timings may be rearranged dependant on bookings before the event. Any changes will be published on this website.


All competitors should remain at the range for the final unless there is no likelihood of them reaching the final. .

All shots must be directed at the target, any infringement of this rule will result in immediate disqualification.

Please bring your license/authorisation and evidence of insurance.
