Comber Rifle Club
22nd OPEN SMALL-BORE RIFLE MEETING

will be held at
STANHILL PARK RANGE, BALLYGRAFFAN ROAD, COMBER
on
Friday 6th August 2004 commencing at 1430 hours,
Saturday 7th August 2004 commencing at 0930 hours,
Sunday 8th August 2004 commencing at 1100 hours.


CLASSIFICATION
Will be by averages as published by the N.I.S.S.U. Competitors who are not included on the current classification list will be classified by the Range Committee.
Competitors may elect to shoot in a higher class but may only win prizes in one class.

MEMBERSHIP
Competitors must be bona-fida members of a rifle club and must be affiliated members of the National Small-bore Rifle Association.

COMPETITION RULES
The meeting will be run under NSRA rules except when stated to the contrary.
The Stanhill Championship will be run under ISSF rules.
Competition disputes will be settled by the Range Committee, whose decision will be final.

RANGE DISCPLINE
Strict range discipline will be in force. Competitors will be asked to leave the Firing Point when not shooting a detail.

LIABILITY
Comber Rifle Club will not accept responsibility for any loss or damage, howsoever caused, to personal property, brought to, or used, at the championships.

SAFETY AND SECURITY
Firearms and ammunition must be secured when not in use. All competitors are advised to be in possession of their firearm certificates and membership cards at all times.

ENTRIES AND DETAILS

Entries will close on the range at 12:30pm on Saturday 7th 2004. The last full detail for the "Aggregate" will be at 1.00pm so that the final can be contested from approximately 4:00pm.

TEAM SHOOT
A team shoot is planned for Sunday based on a 60 shot match. Teams will consist of 4 competitors, not necessarily from the same club.This will be a handicapped event, based on the N.I.S.S.U. classification for each competitor.
( Class "A" +5 ; "B" +10 ; "C" +15 ; "D" +20 )

CATERING
Only self-service tea & coffee facilities will be provided on Friday evening.
Full catering WILL be provided on Saturday, with the possibility of running a barbeque, (weather permitting), for the team shoot on Sunday. Bring your own meat !

COMPETITION SCHEDULE
60 Shots at 50 metres Entry Fee - £ 6.00
40 Shots at 100 Yards Entry Fee - £ 4.00
Aggregate Entry Fee - £ 2.00

STANHILL CHAMPIONSHIP
Entry Fee - FREE
60 Shots at 50 metres

Sunday Team Shoot (teams of four/any club)
Entry Fee - £ 2.00 per person
(Format to be decided)
NOTE: Juniors (<=21) and Veterans (>=60) half price

STANHILL CHAMPIONSHIP
The Championship Final will be contested, hopefully on Gehmann boxes, by the top ten shooters who have shot the "Aggregate" on Friday or Saturday, present on the range at 4:00pm on Saturday, irrespective of class.

NB All Championship Finalists will receive a commemorative award.

TROPHIES
Perpetual trophies will be awarded as follows: (provided they are returned by previous winners)

Class `B' Aggregate Comber B & P Peoples Cup

CLASS PRIZES
Subject to sufficient entries, there will be class prizes for 1st, 2nd & 3rd at 50m, 100yds & the Aggregate; and best Lady, best Junior and best Veteran in the Aggregate.
